Spa-lovers seek out this "eco-friendly" resort just "steps from Taos Plaza" for an "all-day session" of herbal wraps and healing treatments at its "luxurious" facility, "followed by rattlesnake and chile pasta" at the "memorable" dining room and a "restful" overnight in "spectacular rooms" that are "like works of art"; it's just too bad a handful sigh "like an orchestra playing out of tune" the service "just isn't where it should be for such an [otherwise] deluxe" and "magical" place.

The grounds were beautiful. The room was very nice. The buffalo burger in the lounge was one of the best we had ever had.
We were asked if we would like turn down service & said yes but they did not provide the service.

Grounds were amazing, park-like, lots of art work, quiet, double tub.
Parking fee and the room was too dark to read.

No expense was spared when this resort was built. It is filled with tasteful artwork and beautifully landscaped. A photographer's delight. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There were 2 weird pillows covered in turquoise stones. The room also had a fireplace. This is not the type of hotel we can afford to stay in, but with Priceline it was discounted greatly. ...read more

Grounds are pretty and quiet.
Room service did not deliver, room had too many problems.

All show, no go. A very nice looking property, staff is unorganized and poorly supervised and does not meet commitments. Example, restaurant and room service did not provide service while staff goofed off and did not answer phones, no management on-hand. Cold and brusque front desk even at check-in. Ridiculous $12 parking charge in open air lot. ...read more

The bed was comfortable.
Raised sink basin was messy, shower flow limited and carpet needed vacuuming.

When I checked in I was informed that in addition to my agreed on price, there was $12.OO p/day parking fee and a $15.00 p/day hotel service fee for us of facilities. I objected to the service fee but was not told it would be removed. It was not on my checkout statement. My friend checking in with me was told his credit card would be charged for $100 for incidentals and that it would be credited if not used. Cheap shot. ...read more

The gardens were very pleasant and We liked the style of the resort.
The pool was way too small for a resort of this quality. The sound proofing between rooms wasn't very good.

The gardens were very pleasant and we liked the style of the resort. The staff was very helpful and prompt. The spa facilities were very nice but limited in capacity and time available.

An amazing hotel.

I have been traveling for business and pleasure for 30 years. This is one of the nicest places I have stayed at.
